It’s important to us that both exhibitors and visitors alike feel comfortable in attending The Baby to Toddler Show.  We have been working hard to ensure we can hold our event with several measures to keep our attendees safe and secure.  Working together with our venue, the government, and the events industry, we have introduced a series of important operational changes as part of our new Safer BTTS Plan, a guide to delivering our events in the current situation. The key elements are outlined below.

We are also working very closely with the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, who are committed to delivering events under rigorous health and safety measures. You can read their measures on the BCEC website

Before you book your tickets, we ask that you read this information, which we hope will give you peace of mind ahead of your visit.  Please also make sure everyone in your group is aware of these measures and the steps they need to take to gain entrance to the show.

Physical Distancing

Social distancing will be managed in line with the latest government advice. This will be based upon Government social distancing guidance.  We will continue to monitor this and will keep our communications up to date in the lead up to the event.
A new crowd management protocol will be put in place to ensure all areas of the venue are safe, in line with the latest government guidance.

Specialist social distance marshals will assist with the management of visitor flow.


Visitor Arrival

Temperature check will be a condition of visitor entry. Any person displaying a high temperature (and potentially the party they are with) will not be granted access to the venue.  If you feel unwell, please do not attend the event.

Advance ticket registrations: All visitors will need to register for their ticket in advance.  This will enable us to minimise queuing and contact on arrival through the use of enhanced technology scanners which will facilitate seamless and contactless access upon entry and exit.

At this stage we plan to administer staggered visitor session times (but this may change closer to the time, depending on government and health advice).  This will enable evenly spread attendance, minimising queuing to provide a safer and more seamless experience.  We will advise all ticket holders prior to the show if this is necessary, offering various timeslots for them to attend.

Track and Trace: All visitors and exhibitors will be scanned in and out of the event, and contact details will be kept securely for 21 days to support contact tracing in line with government and local authority guidance.


Floor Plan

Managed exhibitor numbers to optimise exhibitor to visitor ratio.

Clear signage and controlled visitor traffic will help everyone keep a safe distance.

Wider aisles to enable social distance and to enhance the visitor experience.


Cleaning and Hygiene

Enhanced overnight cleaning: the venue will be fully cleaned regularly and electrostatic equipment (fogging) will be used to enhance the overnight cleaning regime of enclosed spaces.

An enhanced cleaning regime during show open periods, with extra attention given to high-frequency touch points such as toilets, feeding and changing rooms, door handles and hand-rails.

Food and beverage retail services will be provided in line with the latest government guidance.


Personal Hygiene

Hand sanitisers will be provided throughout the Show.

Hygiene reminders to regularly wash hands, and refrain from personal greetings (a handshake or a hug) will be in place throughout the venue.

Face coverings are not mandatory but advised, in line with government guidance and should be supplied by the attendee.

Safer Payments: contactless payments will be encouraged throughout via card or phone, with an email receipt wherever possible.



The  show website, social media and emails will supply exhibitors and visitors with the most up to date information regarding health guidelines in place at the show.

Exhibitor manual will include specific details of what our exhibitors need to execute for the enhanced safety and hygiene measures.

Event signage will be displayed prominently regarding recommended guidelines eg. Social distancing and personal hygiene.

Public address during the show regarding physical distance and the importance of handwashing and sanitising hands.

What time does the show open?

9.30am – 4pm each day*

How do I get to the venue?

Is there car parking available?

There is car parking available at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, see more information on their website.

Is there a cloak room?

There is no cloak room provided at the show.

How can I find out what is happening at the show?

Check back closer to the show to see what is happening every day of the event.

Where can I find a particular product/brand at the show?

What food and drinks are available at the show?

A variety of delicious food, drink and snacks will be available through the event including kid-friendly options.

Can I take my pram inside the show?

Yes, you can take your pram into the show. It may get quite busy at times so we do recommend you consider bringing a baby carrier or sling.

Is there pram parking?

No. There is not a dedicated or secure place to leave your pram.

Will I be able to drop my shopping off at the car/go home for my baby’s nap and then come back to the show the same day?

Yes – grab a stamp as a pass-out and will be able to re-enter the event during the session.


Do I need to register for my free ticket?

Yes. Due to COVID-19 regulations and venue capacities we are limiting the number of visitors allowed at the event at any one time, so we’ve split each day of the show into two sessions:

Morning session: 9:30am – 12:30pm
Afternoon session: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

When does the free ticket offer end?

Free tickets will be available until 11:59pm on 25 March 2021.  You can register for your free ticket here.

My ticket says it is unregistered, what does this mean?

An unregistered ticket means that there is no name or contact details attached to that ticket. You will still be allowed entry into the show, however you won’t be able enter the competitions around the show, or sign up to mailing lists with exhibitors by scanning your ticket – as there won’t be any details against your ticket.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

No, all tickets must be pre-registered before the event.

Can the tickets be scanned at the door from my phone?

Yes. If you have a cracked screen, please print a ticket at home or see the box office for assistance.

Can I swap my tickets for another day/session?

Please contact our ticketing company Lup here if you would like to swap your tickets for another day/session.


Can I swap names on my ticket/give my ticket to someone else?

No, tickets are not transferable as all attendees must be pre-registered. Please Contact Lup, our ticketing agency to cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend.

Are children free to attend the show?

Yes, Children 15 and under are free to attend however they MUST have a registered ticket.

Are concession tickets available?

There are no discounts on tickets at the door.

Are companion cards accepted?

Yes, someone with a valid companion card accompanying a guest, will be given free entry.

How can I sign up for Infant First Aid Classes?

I’ve purchased an Infant First Aid ticket, do I need to also have an entry ticket if I am only attending the class?

Yes, you will be required to have an entry ticket for the event. Make sure you register for your ticket in advance to take advantage of free entry.

Can my child come into the First Aid Class with me?

Yes, the Infant First Aid classes are child-friendly.

Is there a waiting list for the sold out First Aid sessions?

If there are spaces available, there will be a waiting list. Please go directly to the registration area for the classes to see if there are spaces available.
